The Cruiser is another shoe-based masterpiece from France’s Mephisto. The eagle-eyed may have noticed that the upper is basically the same as the Rainbow, with the added benefit of having a slimmer, sportier sole. There’s tonnes of nifty features behind the scenes too – along with Mephisto’s time-honoured shock absorbing midsole, there’s an airbag in the sole as well, which essentially means it’s the closest mere mortals will get to walking on a cloud.
