Top lads Henri Lloyd and Nigel Cabourn have melded minds to create a smattering of ultra-progressive sailing jackets. Needless to say, they’re astounding, stupefying, wondrous and every other positive adjective you can think of. Take this Deck Long Jacket for instance – this doozy looks like the kind-of thing Benjamin Braddock would be crashing weddings in crica 2073. It’s got that classic, mid-century sailing jacket shape we all know and love, with the added benefit of having loads of nifty, 21st century details: see-through pockets for see-through map stowage… crisp, water-resistant fabric… taped seams to keep the raindrops out… and if that wasn’t enough, this even comes equipped with a whistle. What’s it for? We’re not sure, but it’s reassuring to know it’s there.
